During 2008, according to the Education council member, Nuria Esther Javaloyes, the government has been working on a municipal kindergarten for 2009.

It seems that finally this work will commence at the beginning of the next year.

There had been many reasons that this works could not started sooner. One of them was the ownership of the land.

Since November of this year, 2008, the lands belong to the government of Busot, thanks to an agreement between the Town Hall and the owners of the land, Manuel Giner and Agustín Giner.

Also, the government was thinking in several different locations for this service.

One of them was a land bought from the Town Hall in Mayor Street. But after a study of the population growth of the town, they considered that will be better to build the kinder- garden next to the Casa de Cultura and the Health Center because of its communication and accessibility and possibilities for expansion.

The cost of this new construction will be 200.000 Euros and will be finished in the middle of 2009.

Another problem is how to manage the kindergarten. It could be the municipal services directly or the management of the service could be allocated to a company.

They will most likely choose the last option.

Regardless, the Education Council member said that it had been a hard and very complicated job but the town will have the municipal kindergarten next year.
